Title: Interesting website
Post by: Neuromancer on November 01, 2004, 04:17:05 AM
I found this watching the history channel just a few hours ago

http://www.weirdus.com/

After you get there you pick a state..I am from New Jersey so I started there...

Lots of interesting folk tales and other interesting facts.  Abduction of the Lindbergh baby and such.

Some of it is just hokey camp fire tales, I found the more relevant tales more interesting... gravity hills and such (yes I know the mystery behind them  and why they really do work, learned it as a child.)

But led me to another site... wish I found this BEFREO halloween but is very dark and spooky ad fits here perfectly.  I have been going over it trying to absorb some ... er .. inspiration I suppose. :o

Anyway there is a lot of stuff to go through... just thought someone else might like the uh, reference material  :D

Weird.  Do you think it's straight-up, or a hoax site?  That's the same pic as in that shoot-em-up game, where you've got to shoot the sniper and then look around to find the next one.  I couldn't make out hardly anything in their photos, so does that mean they're more likely to be authentic, or is somebody not very good with their Photoshop?  :D

WEll considering all the pics I have seen, are only of mist and fog... I would asay it dosnt really matter LOL

I dont believe in the supernatural, as the word itself means impossible.  (in context)

The scanned the negatives too...

butthe story was they took the band there to take pics... member went to review pics and almost dropped the camera

Uh, digital cameras dont use film

So therefore obviously fake :(

However perhaps I am wrong and they meant reveiwing the mat the photo developer...

well when I was a kid we learned home to fake pictures...this is long before digital photography and photoshop...

placing negatives over negatives to develop etc...

in which case I would have to say they are faked.

As my new title states... i dont trust humans.. so of course i think they are fake.   :P

True, I was thinking the same thing - wondering what they were on about negatives for, if they were using a digital camera.  LOL, my Mrs didn't understand the concept of a digital camera either.  We've just got one, and she said, "Will I be able to use it?  Where does the film go?" :D  When I told her it didn't take film, and everything was stored on a chip, she was incredulous.  It was like :o whoah.... :fugly:
