I found a decent banner generator that allows the free use of their tools. Of course, without paying for premium access they require a small bit of free promotion at the bottom of the banner.
What do you think?

(I tried posting the banner here, but I can't figure out how to use HTML code on the board.)
Can't see it. Can see the blog page fine, but where the banner should be there's a grey rectangle. Could this be because I use an adblocker, and it's blocking it?
Looks good :afro: I'm not sure what html you need to use to put it on the board -- simple html is enabled, so as long as it's not overly complicated it should work
I will have a look at the admin panel to see if there's anything else I can do to make it easier. If you post the code snippet you want to use with the # button, I'll see if I can figure it out.
Looks good on Opera, but still invisible on Firefox, which is a problem as obviously a lot of people use Firefox.
Looks great in Safari!
That's too bad about the firefox issue. I really don't know a solution since I used a free banner site to make it. I think I can make simple banners that don't have the watermark on the bottom. Maybe those will show up.
Ed, here's the html:
<iframe src="http://files.bannersnack.com/iframe/embed.html?hash=6257b6827a8f1ec70f80513fb3287408&bgcolor=%233D3D3D&alt=screenshot&t=1317574496" width="435" height="75" frameborder="0"></iframe>
If the image is shown above, then it worked. Otherwise...well, I don't know much about html. I'm trying to figure out how to embed a link so people can click the banner and go straight to the amazon page. I thought it should have worked, but in the preview it didn't.
Ah, it won't embed on this forum because it's an iframe. My guess would be they need it to be like that for it to carry their advertising. I'll play with it and see if I can find a solution :afro:
