Hi all,

I'm beginning to sound like a cracked record, but sorry I haven't been around much lately.

Excuse 1: I've been really busy at work preparing for Conjure, the National Science Fiction Convention, which I will be blogging live from for our arts blog, Articulate. (http://abc.net.au/news/arts/articulate).

Excuse 2: I've been a bit out of sorts since having a sebaceous cyst cut out of my back. In my very own real life horror story, I could still feel the doctor cutting me after he'd given me the maximum allowable dose of local anaesthetic! :( Not a fun way to spend a Friday morning, I can tell you.

But after Easter, I should be back on board.

And for the science fiction, fantasy and horror fans, please drop by Articulate April 13-17 and check it out!

Thanks, Grin

Ooooo, sebaceous cyst. My Dad used to suffer from those. Nasty critters.

You could turn it into a Doom tale.  :o

Seriously, hope everything heals up well, Grin.

Hey, Grin, find any teeth in there? Perhaps a twin that went missing? A hairball? Not fun, but def of weird and obssesive interest to this group.

Good luck with the blogging. I hear that can hurt, too. Bring salve!  :afro:

Sorry to hear you've been in the wars, Grin - I've had a few things done without the benefit of anaesthetic and know how painful it can be.  Dunno about you, but I thought the stitches were the worst, because the needle seems to drag as it's pulled through the already raw flesh. :afro:

Looking forward to seeing more of you after Easter then.  Hopefully I'll be more involved this month, too.  Seems to be a very hectic year, so far, all round.
