No worries - it can always wait until July, or later.  I know what you mean about feeling like it wouldn't be your story anymore - I feel the same way if somebody edits one of mine.  Minor edits, to correct grammar or spelling are OK, but when bigger changes are made, it's different.  Several writers over at BC had their stories radically altered and then sent them out as their own work.  I'm not sure what to think of that.
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Then if it is okay this could be July's frontpage instead, on 16th all the exams are over...

Yep, no problem.  Would you like a full critique on the story to perhaps help give you some idea of where to concentrate your efforts?

The best of luck with your exams in the meantime.  Must be a stressful time for you and I bet you'll be glad when they're over :afro:

Full critique would be lovely, should we move it to the Workshop?

Yep, two of them don't matter much in the grand scheme but I have a filosophy exam where I am supposed to defend something equivalent to an A or A+ which I doubt I can. If they give me Freud I am finished :D

Freud was a complete loon, IMO.  An early cocaine addict, who introduced his best friend to the drug (on the grounds of its beneficial effects), who subsequently died from overdosing on it months later, also a hapless addict ::)  Freud managed to kick the addiction.

I'll try to get a crit done tomorrow night and I'll decide whether to move the thread then - I can't think straight at the moment
