Welcome back to England, here's your legal letter informing you of your suspension

And that is pretty much the welcome back  got when I popped into work today...yup, I'm suspended

I'll tell you all more when I know a little more myself but by next week I will be jobless

It's really not my week

:o  Shit!  Sorry to hear that, mate :(

Odd that they didn't even give you an explanation why   Hopefully it's something you can straighten out, but if not, you've always got the possibility of going to one of the unions - most of them will fight your employers for you, as long as you join.  My wife went to the TGWU, even though she wasn't a member, signed up, and the next day they were onto her employer, who relented and gave her the back pay she was owed.  Worth thinking about, if it's unfair dismissal. :)

I know now exactly what it is about, but the letter I got explained nothing, I'll have another letter tomorrow which they can post to me, and as far as I see they screwed up ALL over the place, it can't be discussed with me due to legal reasons apparently but 3 people have already told me what the deal is...2 of them don't even work for the company...
So they really don't have a leg to stand on, right there it's an improper investigation, they messed up and don't even realise it, but apparently they are set to close down so they are basically just screwing me over so they don't have to pay me redundancy, I mean yeah, I'll fight them at the disciplinary but it's really not worth my time fighting after that. I pretty much know for a fact that they will sack me, I'm prepared for it and I can't wait to laugh in their faces when they do it.
I'll just enjoy about another week off or something then start the hunt for another job, already had another offer and I could start tomorrow but to be honest I want a little time to adjust still and I want a higher paid job really...we'll see what happens, I'll let you know more when they make their next move.

Could well be that they are trying to save the redundancy pay, but that's pretty low considering what it would cost them.  If they're as unprofessional in their day to day running of the business as they have been in suspending you, it's no wonder they're going going out of business ::)

Good luck finding another job :)
