Walker

My wife and I are both Capricorn. Neither of us pay much attention to the horoscopes, unless it bears a striking similarity to what we see as reality. I do have to say, though, the general traits for a capricorn fit my wife and I both very well.
"Lord, here comes the flood, we will say goodbye to flesh and blood. If, again, the seas are silent in any still alive, it'll be those who gave their island to survive. Drink up, dreamers, you're running dry."
Peter Gabriel.

Just want to thank those for their well wishes. I'm feeling better now.

With Capricorns, I found the men to be so moody, almost sullen, while the women were pleasant, but shy.
The one male sign I have trouble getting along with AT ALL, is Virgo. My oldest son and I clash heads ALL OF THE TIME!

Well, I can tell ya that Walker is definitely not 'sullen'! Guess he's got some tempering ruling planets in there somewhere! And I wouldn't say his wife's shy, either. Hmmmmmm.

Didn't know you were poorly, littlelaniec.

I have to say, as a female capricorn I am shy, but I'm also moody and almost sullen.  So is one of my daughters, who is borderline capricorn and sagittarius.  I've been told the moodiness is part of being an artist.  However, with people close to me I can be a lot of fun (at least I think so, no one has ever told me different...)
...the person who wrote that... is dangerous. And this button-down, Oxford-cloth psycho might just snap, and then stalk from office to office with an Armalite AR-10 carbine gas-powered semi-automatic weapon, pumping round after round into colleagues and co-workers.

You're right, artists are moody, tempermental, emotional and very passionate about everything they do! Even an Aries! Hell, we run on passion! LOL!

I believe that bein born under broody old Saturn has a bit to do with the sullenness of Capricorns also.  My family is loaded with Capricorns and all of them are brooding, deep-thinking people that sometimes come off as total smartarses to most people--as family I understand that it's just their nature.

Aries' are born under the fiery planet Mars and excellent at starting all kinds of projects--lots of fire and passion and the Aries people I know are hot-headed, have short fuses and mostly thin--but they grab life with such passion as to make even the most jovial person seem boring.  The Aries' just have sooo much energy.  (i've also noticed that aries' that are accident prone seem to injure their heads more than any other part of their bodies, too  odd that i just realized that about them)

Being the only Sagitarrius in the family (or, come to think of it, in my group of acquaintances) I find that I'm misunderstood a great deal of the time--my family is mostly earth and water signs, me being the only mutable fire sign.  Preset philosophies don't hold much influence over me, either--I'd rather go with me own on that side of things, at least there's only me to blame, eh?  I also tend to think differently than anyone in the family, me thoughts on any subject will branch out in several different directions (sometimes contradictory to one another) instead of following one set path to conclusion.

Well, I was energetic when I was younger, but slowed considerably over the years. Funny, you mentioned injuries to the head: not ha-ha, ironic. Last June 30th, the bathroom ceiling collapsed on my head (while taking a dump on the toilet, no less!). So, I sat there, screaming and covering my head with my arms, but the damage was done. Well, at least I went to the ER with my pants back up!  ;)
Had to wear a neck brace all last summer and now, I can barely walk without a cane. It caused nerve damage to my neck and back, not to mention worsen headaches. Let's just say, I haven't been the same since! :/

It's a good thing I'm a writer and not some athlete! And, since the boys are grown (my youngest being 16), they take care of me now! I LOVE IT!!

Saggies are another of the fire signs. Now, I know why you talk as much as I do!
I'm surrounded by water and air! But, my aunt, who's more my sister, is a Capricorn and she gets moody very easily.
And, I'm running my diarrea mouth AGAIN! :lipsrsealed:

   Yup, we fire signs do tend to ramble on a bit, eh?  My brother used to call me motor-mouth when we were young.  Talking around the whole point, circling it like a buzzard over a dead thing, seems to be one of me artistic talents.  I see the target and know how to get there--I just have to circle it a few times, see the scenery and explore all those tantalizing little side paths before I get there!  ;D

I'm surrounded by earth and water signs...sigh...one set I want to burn to a crisp on a daily basis and the other set tries to put out me fire every time they're near.  What's a Sag to do?  heheheh

Funny description!

The air side flames the fire, the water wants to douse me. Think of it though, fellow fire sign, fire IS difficult to put out!  :azn:

As a fire sign, do you enjoy watching candles burn? Fire fascinates me, no I DON'T GO AROUND STARTING FIRES.  And, I won't put my hand in it or wave it over. It's just hypnotizing to watch.

I love to watch fire, too.  Hubby complains that I'll burn down the house one day with all the candles.  Mum says it looks like a shrine sometimes.  I play with the fire, unlike you, just test it kind of.  And I do set fires--contained fires, not arson mind you.  I love to watch the dancing flames dematerialize whatever I toss in--all the way back to its pure nothingness.

I'm a water sign but I also have a fascination with fire. Have candles burning most of the time, can't resist being at a bonfire ...
