Yipee, the snow is back!!

  For a couple of seconds I thought, WTF?  It isn't that cold in Chester, is it?

S'pose I should dig out the santa smilies, too :afro:

Hah! It is cold enough for falling snow. You only need the temp to drop to 7C but it needs to be 3C with the dew point at 0C for it to stick. The temp in Chester is 3C at present. Annoying cos I intended to take advantage of the high pressure with its calm and dry conditions to do a long bike ride, but I woke up to find a dense fog pushing in at my windows grrrrr.

Ed

Foggy today here as well.  I don't think it's as cold as that, though - we're generally a few degrees warmer, I suppose, being that bit farther south.

I've engaged the Santa smiley set, but they don't appear to be working.  Time to hit the server with a virtual mallet ::)

It's like spring over here, for heaven's sake! The grass is still green, there are plants that haven't yet gone brown ... I have to roll my eyes every time I hear a BBC announcer complain about how cold it is today.

Normally, I'd be shivering in -20C temps back home. Of course, with global warming, it's eerily warm there right now, as well.

We had 71 degrees (F) on Monday in Maryland, USA! The plants are confused. So are the people!

Have to say global warming seems pretty good to me, so far :afro:  But then we're a fair bit higher than sea level here, and thirty miles inland, so it'd have to get pretty floody before it affected us.  Wouldn't be so keen if the Gulf Stream stopped flowing, though

I'm in the midwest, it was in the high 60s last week but down to 40s this week, and it's been raining non-stop today.  Bleh!  I want my white Xmas! lol

It was freezing all day, foggy too, so everything was white - I'd be happy with that on Christmas morning.  Better than the gloomy rain-soaked day we usually seem to get :afro:
