No, poor Doug hasn't yet experienced a Canadian winter and he's not looking forward to that part. But we have really good central heating over here (at least where I'm living now) and we'll deck him out with a heavy-duty parka, toque, gloves, scarf, socks, boots so he looks like the Michelin Man when he has to go outside at 6 a.m. to shovel the walks and clean a foot of snow off the car. I'll take pictures.
