It's a shame the women aren't the same. They seem to have more than their fair share of attractive women, that's for sure.

I've just optimised and uploaded a few more pics, so I thought I would share them. That's my dog, Piggy, BTW

Methinks I like Piggy the best!

Beautiful pix, Ed. Soooo the Vatican hasn't been made to return their Egyptian pieces? Anubis doesn't seem to fit in an RC framework...I can't believe the Egyptian gov't isn't hectoring them to get their national treasures back!

Yeah - I was really surprised to see Egyptian artefacts in the Vatican  Apart from issues of relevance to the RCC, like you suggest, you'd think it'd be verging on blasphemous to have them around. Odd. Very odd. :/

That just about sums up the Catholic church, IMO, Ed.

I was rather sickened when I toured the Vatican and began thinking about how all of those works of art found their way into the hands of a self-proclaimed bunch of religious 'leaders'. Of course, then I began thinking about how much money they were all worth and wouldn't that go a very long way to helping all the people in this world that are starving ...

Can you tell I'm ex-RC?

Not really, TBH, Donna. Any form of hypocracy on the scale religion can muster raises the same kind of ire in me, too, and I'm strictly non practicing C of E :afro:
