Rev, you posted while I was editing mine to add the bit about Freddie. Oops. Hope you're not too disappointed.

No worries Bec.  I honestly can't imagine any Cafe Doomers being "into" the sort of music we do, but the fact you gave it a listen is good enough for me  azn

edit: cue bad joke linking 'cafe doom' to 'doom music'  Cheesy  Wink

edit 2: I won't be offended if anyone doesn't fancy hurting their ears, either hahaha  afro

Love it, Rev -- She's A Vulture would be a great soundtrack for a Strepsils ad afro I don't reckon your throat could cope with a hour-long set.

Fun stuff Rev! Yuan Zhi Hui kindof reminded me a little of Guttermouth. That's a good thing, I think.  afro

Darn... my work PC's browser won't load Myspace - tells me I need to upgrade, but as it's a locked configuration I'm scuppered. I'll listen later from home. Looking forward to it! I'm guessing there's a bit of a Tom Waits style growl to your voice? Which is always an exceptionally good thing.

I have been called a "Death Metal Tom Waits" before hahaa  Wink

And Ed, I can manage 3 hours of shouting (that's typically how long we practice for) but you can't half tell the next day haha I had to do a kid's party with a supremely hoarse throat just before Christmas, but thankfully it was a pirate one so I sounded more like a scurvy seadog than I do usually  Cheesy

I'm enjoying listening but then I've got flu and my ears are blocked so that may be helping.  scratch

Rev, I had to wait for the wife to leave the house so I could play it full on. I believe my drains are now unblocked! Thanks! dance

Tremendous, Rev! I do like a sensitive ballad.  dance Shades of Lemmy in the vocals, along with Tom Waits from his Raindog years...

Been meaning to check this out when I got some time--now that Motorhead and Waits are thrown together as a possible description, I HAVE to check it out soon...

Rev--listened to "She's a Vulture."  Music is noisy and raunchy--some weird mix of The Stooges and Sabath I think...waves of fuzzy ugh...I liked it.  Fun stuff (if that's really the word to use).  When I get some time I'll check out the other tracks...way to go!!!!!!! cheers
