At the moment I'm listening to vh1.com's -- Vh1 Soul radio.

When I'm writing, I'll switch over to VH1's -- Dark shadows radio...OooOo, or well, there's plenty to choose from.

You like the oldies, huh? I listen to VH1 sometimes - but then I end up thinking about all the memories the songs bring up, so I don't get any work done

Heh, yeah, the oldies are goodies.
There aren't many good oldies radio stations where I live, so I go online and try to find what I enjoyed listening to back home in the States. I also like a lot of new stuff too. Vh1 is good to me. Saved me from the scratching sound of my printer.

Good 'ol rock and roll takes up the most memory in my ipod, with podcasts and alternative stuff taking up the slack. Speaking of that, my wife and I just picked up tickets for 2 concerts in April. We're seeing Santana (8th row, just right of center) on Thursday the 17th, then the next night-- Friday the 18th-- we're seeing Collective Soul (10th row, center). Can't wait, it's going to be a couple great nights of rock and roll!

My last was the Rush 30th anniversary tour three years ago. Did want to go and see Prince at the O2, but poverty prevented it  :'(

Nikki Yanofsky is an almost 14-year old from Montreal who debuts next week at Carnegie Hall. The link takes you to some recordings done when she was 12! Fabulous voice.

Last night went to see The Buddy Holly Story in Covent Garden. One of my best mates is playing Buddy at the moment. Well worth a trip if anyone's passing - although I used to live with the guy when he was learning all the songs and woke up every morning to a different Buddy Holly song coming through the wall. All great stuff, but every morning for two weeks is a bit much.

Yeah, I can imagine

Love the video to this song. It's not the kind of music I would normally listen to, but I'm kinda liking this one, which is a tad worrying

Worth watching whether you like the music or not :afro:

That's some serious hillbilly funk! Real toe tappin', politically incorrect stuff. Love it. Thanks for sharing it, Ed. Who's the artist?

Quote from a friend on another forum:

Snoop Dawg wrote "Gin & Juice" - I think The Gourds is made up of Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, & Garth Brooks. Cause the version I have on my IPOD is labeled by them.

If you like parodies, then check out Richard Cheese. Does lounge music versions of popular stuff.
