is marriage.

But, what the heck. We're doing it.

Flirtybee & Canadian are tying the knot on Saturday, February 23. Finally.

Now, anybody know how to prevent a straight jacket from wearing out? The Bee seems to be trying to fray it at the edges ...

I've always found a ball and chain more reliable, Donna ;)

Seriously, wishing you and flirtybee all the love and luck in the world :afro:

Geoff_N

I've found loopholes in my straight jacket  ;) But she keeps patching them

You two are a match made in a chocolate factory / nirvana / brewery / ambrosia / heaven (ring the most appropriate). It's been thrilling meeting you both, and keeping you both up late in Doug's house reading my daft words into a mike, while I had my heels nibbled!

Gaynor and I wish you both scrumptious delights and a long effervescent marriage

The truly Canadian alternative... duct tape! He'll never escape!
Congrats to both of you, Donna. You and the flirt make an excellent team.

Awwwww, thanks all!

Sally & Walker, I'll keep the ball & chain and duct tape handy.

Geoff, we've still got two of the dogs ... any time you feel the need for heel nibbling, c'mon over!

 Congrats, you two. All the very best from me and Mrs Ed for a happy future together. Where're you going to be based - Canada, or the UK? Or both, of course

Hey, you'd have to pay for that in some parts, Geoff.

Hey! That's right! He never did submit payment ... tee hee!

Thanks for all the good wishes, folks. It's been nearly three years since Flirty re-wrote my poem and I started sending him pissed-off emails. Funny how things work out, eh?

We're in a spinning whirl of plans, as well as house renovations. Once things settle down a bit (ha!), we'll move on to planning a trip back over the pond this fall. A writers' gathering will definitely be part of that trip! Will keep you all posted.

Ed, we've bought a house over here and are hoping that the Canadian government will ignore the fact that the Bee's a rather odd little Brit and let him stay here. * grin *

Greetings to all from the recently wed Mr. & Mrs. Pugh:

Our day went well except my son's van was rear ended as he was headed up this way. Poor kid. He's okay but the van's sorely hurt & had to be towed back to his town. He'll be up to visit us in a few weeks, hopefully.

More piccies here if anyone's interested in having a boo:

Thanks, all. I guess because Flirty & I met online, we have an extra special soft spot for all of our virtual friends ... some of whom have become actual, real life friends!
