This was posted by a friend on another forum, who was at work when this story unfolded:

As most of you know, I'm working at our accountant's office for tax season. We're swamped and the owner asked me to work Saturday. I reluctantly agreed. I was getting ready to leave at 5PM (it was just the owner and I there) when a client came in to pick up his paperwork.

He was giddy and very animated when he found out he was getting over a thousand dollars back. He said, "You'll have to excuse me, I was out a little bit late last night and I'm punchy."

He started telling me about how he and his wife went to the corner bar for a few drinks and noticed it was strangely empty. None of his buddies were there drinking green beer. He and his wife were playing pool when a big group of his gang came in. Apparently they'd all been smoking pot and drinking beer at one guy's house and decided to do some 'shrooms. They hit bars all over town and decided to end their trip at their home bar. They were telling the couple about their eventful evening when someone asked, "Hey, where's Tommy?"

They realized they were missing one friend. They were all worried about him, out there trippin' by himself, when he bursts in the front door, all dirty, shirt torn and blood in the corner of his mouth. When they asked him wtf happened, he said he'd found a Leprechaun and chased him into the woods. They were all rofl, figuring he'd tangled with a raccoon. They asked him if the Leprechaun kicked his ass or what, to which he replied, "No, but he put up a helluva fight! I knew you guys wouldn't believe me, so I threw him in the trunk to prove it!" They went into the parking lot and opened the trunk to find one very pissed off midget, saying "Get me the fuck outta here!"

The police were called; the guy's in jail.
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
