Tainted

Anyone else doing something for Tainted? I love the angle they took with it and am almost done editing my submission. I didn't realize how horribly depressing it was until I was done. Originally it was going to have the standard horror movie type ending, but after a long time of not being able to bring myself to finish it I changed my mind. I realized that the "eek" ending was completely inappropriate for the previous prose.

My question is, if they don't like it who should I send it to next? I'm not hip to which magazines specialize in stories set in modern times but inspired by the older style. I'd really love to sell this one

Pantechnicon would probably take it, as would pretty much any of the Brit outlets, I'd imagine. They all seem to love the Lovecraftian style but, sadly, they don't pay anything. I would suggest Postscripts, but I think they'd probably be too highbrow. Hell, I can barely read some of the stories in the copy I bought, let alone write one like that
