It's a collection of 38 five hundred word zombie flashes by various authors, including Nancy Kilpatrick, Michael Laimo, Nate Southard, Jeff Strand, Tim Waggoner. (and me, and Womble)

Thought I'd better do my bit to promote the thing. After all, I'm looking forward to seeing my contributer's copy, and they've already paid me for my story, so it only seems fair to put the word out.
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Thanks for the congrats   For somebody who rarely sends anything out, this is quite new territory for me. I'm really looking forward to getting my contributor's copy :afro:

BTW, they've made a trailer for it:

Pretty cool. I just ordered a copy on amazon. Congrats Ed and Womble.

Good work, guys. My submission, "The Maze" made it through to the final round but was ultimately cut. Fortunately, the same story was picked up for The Black Whole anthology, due out in December.

Ed

Thanks, all. Glad to hear you found another home for your submission, Hank

Good dialogue with your Carson character, Ed. I wanted to read Wombles story but I realized I don't know his real name.

Ed

Thanks - glad you liked it. Shame we didn't have more words to play with - I much preferred the original version, which was 100 words longer.

Womble's name is Paul Freeman. I can't remember the name of his story, though  It's probably in the Bits of the Dead forum section somewhere.

I still haven't received my contributor's copy yet, but you're the third person I know who has a copy already. I guess Amazon must be better at delivering than the combined efforts of the Canadian and British postal services

I've been off the radar a bit - new job and stuff.

Yes, Elay, I'm Paul A. Freeman, and my story's 'Hunger'.

Hope you like it.

Hey Womble,

Enjoyed your short. Liked the bit of misdirection there. I thought the wife was going in for the mercy kill.

Whats your knew job? Says teacher in Saudi Arabia in your bio "Bits" bio.
