Changing user name

I put this in my topic of introductions before I saw this forum. I can't figure out how to change my user name. I was able to do everything else but whenever I try to delete my old name it just jumps somewhere else.

I'm sort of new but old here. So much has changed and I'm a bit confused in the navigation and things.
