Bummer. Not as bad as a guy I know at work. He did the same numbers faithfully from day one, every week, for years, and then literally missed one week - the week his numbers came up. It practically destroyed him. He's never got over it.

Imagine coming that close to never having any money worries ever again. Every bad day you had for the rest of your life you'd look back and see that filled out card sitting on the mantlepiece next to the telly as the numbers were being read out, wouldn't you? Argh...  bangh

Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

I always thought that I'd be better off putting aside a quid a week rather than playing the lotto, but then I realised that it would take an amount of time I can't even comprehend to save up anything worthwhile  Cheesy I'm on the dole anyway, so I need all my money for drugs and White Lightning*

*not true.  Apart from the 'dole' bit.
