"WHERE'S MY MONKEY?!"

« on: July 15, 2009, 03:22:53 PM »

I'm not very au fait with poetry styles, so I'm not sure if this could class as poetry, but anyway...
It's based on Friday the 13th Part IV (the title would make sense if you've seen it)  smiley

Unfeasible Climax feat. Aqua Dad

Tina’s!
Telekinetic!
She’s frustrated.
And pathetic.

Somebody!
Call a doctor!
She’ll kill everyone.
Who ever mocked her.

That girl’s
Got psychic powers.
That girl’s
Got Powers of the Mind.

Hold her close / Don’t let her go

Psycho!
Kinetic!
She’s
Mental

Might work as lyrics for some slightly tongue-in-cheek metal band. Definitely more like lyrics than poetry.

Ah you got me.  They're lyrics to one of my old bands, but I wanted to see if they'd work out of context Cheesy

could be micro-jeremiad

[A jeremiad is a literary work, usually in prose, but sometimes in verse, in which the author bitterly laments the state of society and its morals in a serious tone of sustained invective, and always contains a prophecy of society's imminent downfall.]
