I just wondered if anything like this exists?  I picked up The Writers and Artists Yearbook last year (can't afford this year's yet  ;) ) and although their listings were extensive, the lack of websites/ban on telephone calls a lot of agents seem to have, made contacting/searching for specific agents a bit awkward.

Your local library will have this year's Writers' and Artists' Yearbook. It's still the gold standard. Use it.

I live in Scunthorpe, Delph.  Our council's only just realised a library's supposed to have books in it  ;) They don't have the latest WAAY but they might buy it in on my behalf...hmmmm...

Scunthorpe, eh? Commiserations.

Most libraries have them in the reference section. You should be able to persuade them, I would've thought.

A little known fact: Scunthorpe's the only town in England that's twinned with its own rubbish dump.

No problem. I've found it very useful because the agents tell you exactly what they are looking for, what format, the books they've recently sold etc. So you don't waste time sending out queries to all the wrong places.
