This is totally shameless, but here goes

I want your money! In return, I'll send you a book. Or lots of books.

Here's the deal. I can let you have signed copies of my poetry collection, 'wormwood, earth and honey', for £6.50 plus post and packing. Furthermore, I can let you have signed copies of my latest novel, 'Small Poisons', for just £9.50. Postage and packing will depend where in the world you are, but it's under two quid for either book to any UK address, and around a fiver for the rest of the world. I can take any currency via paypal. Just let me know how you'd like to pay. I also have a small number of copies of Daniel Abelman's fabulous novella, 'ALLAKAZZAM!' for which I provided the illustrations. That one costs a mere £5.99.

'Small Poisons' is the one I'm particularly keen to flog at the moment, as it makes me the largest profit (and it's a bloody good read). It's a chunky novel in the magical realism genre. If you've no idea if that's the sort of thing you'd like, then check out the reviews by novelist Rosalie Warren and poet John Irvine here, as they'll give you a good idea of what to expect.

If you live the other side of the world, so long as you get your order in quick, it should reach you in time for Christmas.

Order soon. Please! I need the cash...

Many thanks, especially to those of you who've already bought one. Feedback has been fabulous. I'm glowing! But I'd also like to be rich.

I hope you sell a lot, I am on novel 32 and the highest seller was about 120 copies, only there isn't a lot of profit DTP. I have only sold two over the internet from my web site. To get sales I need to get 2-5,000 printed [Poland] and do ssignings and appearances at bookshops. Waterstones are up for it, you try your nearest branch cos aren't you in UK.
Enjoy Christmas.

Signings and appearances are useful things. Unfortunately where I live we don't have a bookshop, and the further you go to find one, the more it cuts into profits (obviously). However, I do have an appearance coming up in York on the 12th of December where I'll be reading some of my poetry and showing some artwork, along with a few other writers and artists. Details: 2 to 4 pm, The Wolfe Room, Black Swan Inn, Peasholme Green, York. Be there if you can!

I've no idea how many of my books get printed, as the publisher sees to that side of things.

Good luck with that promo, Cathy.

I can vouch for Wormwood even though I'm not much of a poet. My mate, Neil Marr, recommends your Small Poisons.

As for Dan Abelman's Allakazzam! it's a small world aint it? I edited the short story Bantu Bones for him two years ago.

I'm in Sheffield when you're in York - the right side of the Pennines but too far south.

I hope your sales soar.

Geoff

Sheffield, you are lucky. I live in a shoe box just north of Malaga. Some people think I'm mad. Mind you I did ride a quad from Cherbourg to Malaga after a ferry crossing.
