World Horror Convention 2010
« on: January 10, 2010, 06:32:25 AM »
For the first and probably the last time ever, WHC is coming to England, which is great news for all the Brits who could never go before, but perhaps not such great news for US regulars who can't afford a transatlantic flight. So, who's going? I've bought a ticket now, so I'll probably see you there.

Further details can be found at - http://www.whc2010.org/how2join01.html - note that the price goes up to £100 on the 31st Jan, so best to book early if you're still thinking about it :afro:

And if I recall correctly David Case is on the panel. Love to be there, but, again if I recall correctly the price is pretty high.

No - only £75 if you book up before the end of the month, but there are also quite a few people dropping out as time goes on and the cost of the air fare has to be justified, so it's possible to pick up a ticket for less. I bought mine from Elizabeth Blue for $70 USD (about fifty quid), which is pretty good value for four days. The added cost of a hotel room brings it up a bit, but I'm only going to stay for one or two nights.

Bet it'll be a blast. Have fun, Ed.

Why does Elizabeth Blue sound so familar?

From the small amount of contact I had with her she seemed very nice
