The interweb is a wonderful thing. You may already know about the following places, or similar ones, but if not... dive in and wallow!

http://www.theparisreview.org/literature.php  - the Paris Review interviews. In depth interviews stretching back to the fifties with some of the greatest modern writers includingIrwin Shaw, James Jones, Steinbeck, Capote, Faulkner, Hemingway, Greene...all the way up to the modern day. An amazing resource.

http://www.kaceykowars.com - Audio interviews with many modern masters such as James Lee Burke, Dan Simmons, Lee Child and many more. Great stuff!

http://readingandwritingpodcast.com/ - Excellent podcasts / audio interviews - some folks here may be really interested in listening to the Stephen Jones and Joe Lansdale broadcasts.  Download to your iPod and enjoy whilst walking the dog / washing up / going to sleep!

Fill your boots, guys. These pages are full of great stuff, and there's something for everyone. No batteries needed. Satisfaction guaranteed.

"If you want to write, write it. That's the first rule. And send it in, and send it in to someone who can publish it or get it published. Don't send it to me. Don't show it to your spouse, or your significant other, or your parents, or somebody. They're not going to publish it."

Cool - thanks Del. I'll go and check them out right now
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
