So I've spent the last five weeks with a real nice little piece that I wanted to submit to PARSEC inc. for their anthology "The end of the Rainbow" The idea of the anthology was to take the theme, "The end of the Rainbow" and write a story.
So I get it all done, get some solid crits on it, re-write and sit down to review the submission guidelines one more time before sending.
What do I find?

Somedays it's not a crock of gold you find at the end of the rainbow!

Anyhow, I'm sure you'll find a use for the piece in the future.

I'd query to ask if they'll still accept it. Tell them what happened and they might take pity on you afro

Thanks, you just reminded me to check the deadlines on all my subs and I see that I need to rearrange my priorities. Time is a bitch. They might still take your submission if you ask really nicely. It's happened to me before.

As Ed said. Well worth querying. They might not have had sufficient subs of your quality.

Good luck
