Welcome to organised religion.
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

And the Lord said, "Let there be light."
Some may say slaughtered is too strong a word...but I like the sound of it.

Suffer the little children to come unto me... or me onto them... which was it again?

Genesis

On the first day God created light switches and God saw that the light-switches were good.

On the second day Tommy fumbled in his trousers to see if he, too, had a good sized light-switch.

On the third day Linda offered Tommy thruppence to let her have a fumble.

On the fourth day they called in the electricians as the switch was clearly turned on when it should have been off.

On the fifth day they decided upon the name Cannon for those who would spread the word of the light.

On the sixth day they commissioned Michaelangelo to carve the history of Genesis in the finest Makrana marble. Alas Michaelangelo was busy at the Sistine Chapel so they had to settle for the Plaster Casters of Chicgao, who fresh from casting Jimi Hendrix's light switch had their sense of perspective somewhat distorted (they gave their plaster Jesus long arms... what did you think I meant?).

On the seventh day they all went to a Harvester for a cheap meal and free seconds at the salad bar.

"If you want to write, write it. That's the first rule. And send it in, and send it in to someone who can publish it or get it published. Don't send it to me. Don't show it to your spouse, or your significant other, or your parents, or somebody. They're not going to publish it."

Robert B. Parker

Why do I have this funny feeling our latest 'member' is going to have something none too witty to say about this
