From Michael:

After receiving numerous submitted manuscripts that have made me want to pull both of my hairs out, I decided to offer a free online class to anyone wishing to sign up.

The class (approximately one hour in length) will focus on manuscript formatting for fiction stories.

You will see examples with a Powerpoint presentation while watching and listening to me via online camera/mic...but please don't let that keep you from signing up.

Date: Friday, July 16, 2010

Time: 9:00 p.m. eastern

I have set the time so as to accommodate folks from both coasts on the U.S.

The following link is needed to get into the class:

Share this link with anyone you feel would be interested.

See you there!

Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Cool. I think I've got manuscript formatting down, but it can't hurt to brush up. Thanks for the heads up, Ed.

Good that professionals offer such advice freely but watch out that there are differences between manuscript formatting on both sides of the Atlantic and that individual publishers and competition organisers have their own finicky requirements.

I would love to see this, but I'm going to be at work. Stupid job.  Cry
