Portrait of author Daniel Abelman. I did this one for his novel ALLAKAZZAM!, which I had great pleasure illustrating.

That's exceptionally good, Delph. Loads of character in the portrait. Well done.

No hidden pictures within the picture this time. Very lifelike though. Good stuff.

Thank you folks! Daniel sent me a load of photos to work from, most of which had serious bookish expressions - but there was one where he was smiling, and that's the real Daniel as far as I'm concerned, so that's the one I used.

Looks exactly as I imagined. Another strong character who has been absent from the websites I frequent. Yo Daniel, I trust you are well. Nice picture.

Thanks Les!
And yes, Daniel does tend to get kicked off many websites, but he seems to be just about hanging on here...

hey-hey Qball!!!! --- yip-yop, cathy is right about that.... i was kicked off 3 forums in 3 days --- not bad going, even by my standards. D____ of the Fowing Ink gave me the bums' rush cuase i wasnt twittish enough for her forum. was given the goodbye from biblio by B___ A____ when i paraphrased a poem posted not to her liking [some nonsense or other about the angel of death and a dildo-scythe ] -- admittadly a camel's back was busted in both cases..... and from the Wild Poetry Forum were some anti-semetic comments were made and i let loose!!!!!!.... but here i am!!!! how are you old buddy?

Things go well. My dearly beloved celebrated her 78th birthday yesterday and I turn eighty next month. We are expecting another great grandson in November (total of three boys and a girl) so things are fine. We are in the midst of a heatwave oc=f over thirty degrees and I can't wait for cooler weather. Is this your new penname? Cheers.
