Yes.

Might I suggest a nice cup of tea? You could always throw it at the wall or something.

I used to suffer with insomnia to the degree that I thought about getting a nightshift job. The trouble is, even if you choose to be awake when you should be asleep, your body rebels by making you feel like crap. The only cure is sleep, but that tends to annoy the boss :/

Good luck :afro:
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

I know the feeling very well. Most days I wake up around 2:00 P.M. and go to bed around 6-7:00 A.M. so, the only jobs that don't require me to work uncomfortable hours are either illegal or only offer minimum wage. I'm really hoping that the writing thing takes off soon so I can stop waking up so early.

I worked for 4 years on the night shift in an aerosol and shampoo factory,  I was part of the warehouse staff so it was actually quite good fun at times but it took me a very long time to get into the nocturnal rhythm.

Stay in touch! I don't mean that in a pervy way.

I'm totally un-nocturnal. I can quite happily get up at the crack of dawn - in fact I love getting up really early when there's no-one about and the world is just stirring - but once it gets dark in the evening I just want to crash out. I'm lucky that, with just a couple of exceptions, I've never had any problems with insomnia. In fact, I'm normally asleep within a minute of turning the light off. I guess I'm lucky  :azn:

"If you want to write, write it. That's the first rule. And send it in, and send it in to someone who can publish it or get it published. Don't send it to me. Don't show it to your spouse, or your significant other, or your parents, or somebody. They're not going to publish it."
