I'm generally quite loathe to shamelessly plug my own stuff, but I recently found out about a really creepy urban legend that's only about 18 months old and isn't even real (yeah it's an urban legend but you know what I mean), but it still gave me a serious case of the willies.  And then OTHER things I found out relating to it creeped me out, and so on and so on.  Right now I'm honestly a little scared to go to sleep because I'm home alone and proper weirded myself out haha it's really quite daft but sometimes stuff really gets to me.  Anyway, this is all covered in my latest hot-off-the-presses blog post because there's too much stuff to clutter a forum thread with, and plus it's a guaranteed time sink of creepy stories and ace story research ideas.  What's got me going is talk/images of the Slendar Man and the Rake.  I was also reminded of a work of hyperfiction called Dionaea House.  IT'S ALL HERE --> http://theycallmepotato.blogspot.com/2010/09/tall-thin-male-seeks-gullible-idiot-to.html I'd love to know if any of you guys have heard of/encountered these stories before.

LOL! Thanks for getting me sucked into that Rev.   It was a rainy day at my house and I just killed a half hour watching some of the videos. :cheesy:

Nice website, or blog site or whatever these thingamajigs are called. Couldn't make head nor tail of those videos though. Ho hum. :afro:
Some may say slaughtered is too strong a word...but I like the sound of it.

I like that. It's pretty rare that somebody comes up with a new creepy premise :afro:
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
