I can open you up a daily haiku section in the challenges part of the forum, no problem. I can even give you a lighter background if you'd prefer and make you moderators of that section. Just let me know what you want and I'll get it sorted tonight when I get home from work

That would be great, Ed. All it needs is a section called 'daily haiku' and then whoever turns up first thing in the morning starts a thread with called '20th September daily haiku' (or whatever date it is) and anyone adds a haiku (3 line nature/seasons/weather/observational poem).

Thank you!

WTF!? I signed up when I saw this thread and got my acceptance TODAY. I was wondering why I couldn't respond to any threads.

it's a litsite-suicide............. probably felt the cry for help was being ignored. poor-thing, sara

Alas, I've had a vitriolic email from her claiming we all have 'serious issues'. This was my reply:

I'm sorry, sweetie,

I wasn't the one who promised all sorts of things and then closed the whole site in a fit of pique. I'd predicted you'd close the forum as soon as you could last week, and I'm sorry to have been proved right. I have no 'serious issues' and it amuses me that you would blame your petulance on everybody else. The grail was ticking along nicely prior to your arrival. Yes, it would have closed but amicably so. I can only hope you act more professionally in your 'editing' job.

With regards to your outburst regarding 'Little Buddy' I have to point out the only person hiding their true identity was you.

Well said.

Not that it'll change anything. I've no doubt she'll carry on and do it all again elsewhere. Leopards, spots, etc. Just sad for those who've been stung yet again. (It's happened to me twice now, but I'm aware it's happened to others as a result of this person's actions far more times.)

btw, fnord, the last thing I posted on The Grail, was a welcome message to you

As a somewhat semi-detached member of the Grail I've been watching this with a certain amount of incredulity. Actually, make that complete incredulity. Do grown people really behave like this? Love your e-mail, BTW, Rachel - seemed spot on.

Meh! At least Doom and TWI have stability. Onwards and upwards!

.... so, who is  this sara ?..... another janet?

delph_ambi

Different tactics to 'Janet', but as destructive in her own way.

Stay in touch! I don't mean that in a pervy way.

I gave it the 'writing corner' theme, but I can change it to anything you like, or back to the forum default, no problem.
