Horrotica Magazine To Return, New Editor in Chief Named

Newbill named new Editor in Chief as Horrotica Online Magazine heads to November's re-release

Apple Valley, CA, October 4, 2010. The New Blood Films Company, who recently acquired Dark Myth Production Studios and its subsidiary Horrotica Online Magazine, announced that publishing veteran Theresa C. Newbill will serve as Editor-in-Chief of the re-launched Horrotica and Horrotica.com properties. This marks a new combined strategy for the Horrotica brand and allows for a consistent voice across all Horrotica brands.

A veteran publishing and on-line executive with extensive experience in literature, Newbill heads to Horrotica after serving most recently as Circulation Manager for Dark Myth Production Studios, where she almost doubled circulation between not only readers, but advertisers as well. Prior to that, Newbill served as an Editor for 2M Magazine, developing interviews and articles.

"Theresa C. Newbill was a natural choice as Editor-in-Chief for Horrotica, having been a part of the new founded success of the Dark Myth brand," said L. Alan Russo Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dark Myth Production Studios.

Newbill will immediately step in as Editor-in-Chief and be involved in decision making for all editorial aspects of the magazine and digital properties including the highly anticipated November/December Holiday issue under new management as well as Horrotica.com immediate re-launch.

"The preliminary heat that the original Horrotica Magazine ignited, helmed by the very talented Terry D. Scheerer will continue with a vengeance. Duality, in all its forms of human existence will be pushed to extremes in the new debut issue of the magazine. Unspeakable acts take flight between sexual pleasure, desire, vulnerability and pure abomination. Get ready for the ride of your life," said Theresa C. Newbill, Editor-in-chief of Horrotica Online Magazine.

"We could not be more excited to make this announcement," said Christopher Glumm, Dark Myth's President. "Ms. Newbill is a tremendous evaluator of talent, character and story. She is a proven leader who brings a keen understanding of the marketplace to the position."

Issues are available at the magazine's web site. http://www.horrotica.com.

is this the kind of thing you looking for?

[an exerpt] -

I dream: hunting out my 'in the lap of the Gods' diaphragm, slicing a hole through the durex middle – wide enough for an engorged malething to slip by. Super-gluing a phalanx of razor-blades around the spring-rim of the circular sperm-shield -  the internal edge. I gaze with pride on my handiwork:  the outer edge still sheathed by the vestiges of the durex. To all intents and purposes – an improvised shark's jaw. I experiment with a cucumber – it slid throughwith ease, passing the outer edge, penetrating. But, on attempting extraction, the internal razor edges clamped down... ouch!... shredded salad on his menu for supper.

Anticipating... I insert it carefully into place... and, saving myself a pummeling this one last time, I bait him with words and soft-lips and tongues that take him around the world in the hold of a tramp-steamer; he arches, grunts and rams.

Snatch-snipping dentatae vaginae, the deepdark collective phobia of his kind. The look of horror when he realises something is terribly wrong.  I squeeze my love-muscles with all my might and pull back. He starts screaming. A 2nd squeeze is easier, for I believe it's a spasming orgasm – my first ever from a manthing – that helps to sever our connection ad infintum.

He bleeds to death as I hold a little part of him close to me in the afterglow.

It's only an erotic dream...

Works for me.
..... ye, but it has to impress penguins....

this is what caught my eye: - Submissions are open for poetry, art and short stories.. the excerpt above is from a text  of  +- 9000 words, that include both poetry, art and short stories....
the artwork is mine, the poetry is reb' s [one of the top poetessas alive today]
.... and the text is both of ours.

its mainly a dialogue of 2 lesbian lovers, one of whom is imprisoned for life in a bulgariam jail, and how they are re-united. its erotic high adeventure with horrific orgasms.

... all in all its quite brilliant [no-one,  gets the twist in the tale until the end - thats a guarantee]....

...... how much do i have to pay them to publish it??...... or do they give me 2dollars [maybe 5?] ?

they must be kidding!

I think it'd help the old rep quite a bit if you could get the website working
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
