Just wanted to say a public thank you to Ed. Not just because of the fact that he's funding huge elements of the prizes for the CD Comp (not just this year - but every year) out of his own pocket, but for keeping this place going, for his encouragement of us all, for enabling all the connections and networking and knowledge sharing that goes on here. For taking the time out to provide hugely informative critiques even though he's already working 25 hours a day. For keeping us all in order and for keeping this place rockin' and rollin'! I'm sure he does whole lot more than this, too. I probably know only 1% of it. I reckon he's the undisputed middle-weight ( ;)) champion of on-line horror.

So three cheers for Ed!

I'll chime in here and agree.  This seems like a pretty cool board...I don't hang out as much as I'd like, ST keeps us pretty busy (And Ken is mean and locks us in a secret room behind his bookcase....and it's a crappy pressboad bookcase full of Koontz and Saul novels) But I do pop in once a day...cool vibe, cool peeps. Keep it going!!

Hey Rev,

I assume that's you in the pearls third from left, front row. What I want to know is, the guy behind you, where his hands?

Aaaw shucks -- now you done gone and made me blush :afro:

I'm glad you all like it here and find it useful. It's me that should be thanking you for stopping by. The place wouldn't be the same without you all
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Argh you've uncovered that I am not only actually a middle-aged woman, but am also a puppet!  Oh well, if the truth had to come out out at least it's on this forum   :afro:

I'll add in a "Bravo!"  and "Muchas gracias!"

This news just in: forum administrator found with bonce jammed in doorway.  Emergency crews claimed "His head was so big after receiving so many nice compliments and mentions of gratitude that we had to mildly insult him to make it shrink back to a more manageable size.  Then he popped right out."
