Preditors and Editors 2011 poll
« on: January 10, 2011, 03:24:07 AM »
Their site is back up after being in error page hell for a while. If you've got a minute to spare and want to support Cafe Doom, then please vote for us in the Writing Workshops poll, which you can find here -- http://www.critters.org/predpoll/writerws.shtml

Thanks :afro:

Done!

I assume the reason Cafe Doom doesn't show up in the "Standings" yet is that they haven't had a chance to tally the votes from today and there weren't any votes prior to that...

Also done.

Biggest competition will be critters. I used to crit with them years ago but seemed a back-biting lot and not as useful nor as quick as in here.

Wow, thanks for the response, everybody

Pharo -- yep, I think it says somewhere that it goes through a verification process before the votes are registered, to make sure there's no ballot stuffing going on, etc.

I'm having trouble getting on that one page to vote for Cafe Doom. I'll try again later.
Ready to hunker down in my box for the weekend, to finish my story!!

Yep, the website seems a bit clunky from time to time. I think maybe they're suffering from too much traffic. Thanks for trying, anyway :afro:

Thanks Oz :afro:

Looks like we came in fourth place, which isn't bad for a small site like ours.
