Sequels seem to be somewhat popular these days.  I think the important thing is to be sure your sequel is very different from the original.  Following similar plot lines and story telling can easily result in a rehash.  I found this to be the case with Jack Ketchum's Off Season/Offspring.  The first book was great, but the second one was far too similar for my taste.

I think it will be a lot different from the original luckily. I am kind of letting the story write itself, as I like to do. But while I am trying to keep some things from the 1st storyline that are pertinent to specific characters, I've also loosened the lug nuts and let the wheels fly off.  And since the dream I had made me feel all warm and fuzzy, we are including the 1st chapter as a teaser. Thanks for the well wishes Robert.   I hope all that get a chance to read it enjoy.
