(BTW, this is a pic of me and the wife)

Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

(for those of you in England who may not know, 'The Munsters' was a VERY popular sitcom back in the 60's starring Fred Gwynne and Yvonne De Carlo. You guys are ringers for them... :D

Thanks, Robert (I'll take my compliments where I can get them ;) ).

I used to love watching that show (re-runs), but when they re-made it, called 'the Munsters Today' or something, they ruined it.  Nobody could replace Fred Gwynne.  He was a one off - made for the role :afro:

You're reminding me of the hysterics in our family caused by receiving a photo (I think a pre-wedding group) of some cousins.  They were never the most beautiful people in the world, and it was one of those pictures that caught everybody there with an unfortunate expression.  The teenage son was extremely tall, and to fit him in, the photographer must have been crouched down, looking up, which gave the impression that the curtain rod was sticking out of the side of his neck - now you see why this memory has cropped up!  And we suddenly started imagining what the rest of the pictures must have been like, if this was the one they'd decided to send out!
