My brother posted a link on his Google+ page that I think bears distributing widely. I'd never heard of RSAnimate before, but they produce some very entertaining and thought-provoking 10-11 minute animations of lectures. The link below is to one on education, but there are many others.

Good stuff. Didn't think I'd watch it all the way through, but I was gripped.

Great stuff -- very, very interesting. I try to get my kids to think divergently whenever we're trying to make something, and one thing that stands out is they're not used to thinking in that brainstorming kind of way. They are good at it when encouraged, though

I'm going to seek out more of these videos and see if I can't find some way of improving my kids' education. Thanks for that, Pharo :afro:
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Wow. I've seen Ken Robinson's TED talks before (here) - fascinating guy. But that animation compliments him beautifully. Thanks for posting.

He's hilarious -- one of the best standup comedians I've seen :afro:
