More books to add to my ever-growing to-read list. Some I must have put on my amazon wish list and forgotten why. My best present is yet to come... daughter is expecting, and I should have another grandson any time :)

None of my immediate family and friends are Christians, but any excuse for a good time and bon-homie is good enough for me. Sorry you didn't receive anything, Lash Slash. A successful and peaceful 2012 to you and family.

just noticed a funny thing while inanely staring at your post, bikoman -- wondering if you realy thought\believed santa brings you your grandchildren .....i suddenly noticed i had 5 stars under my name, while you and delf only have 3 each --- maybe santa did bring me something after all: - some xtra stars!!!!!!!!!

Pharosian

If I'm not mistaken, the number of stars increases with the number of posts you've made: when you reach a certain number of posts, you get another star ... EXCEPT for those of us in the Critique Group. We all have 3 stars, which I assume is some default setting for the group.

Ed

Yep, it's pretty much as Pharo said. Each post group has a number of stars to it, and for some reason I assigned three stars to the crit group. Can't remember why
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
