Infant mortality, teen death. Ah, the good old days!

I've been entering cemetery records into a database for an historical society in Vermont.  Gotta do some good deeds to balance the scales!

I didn't actually count, but I'd say less than 1/4 of the people I've entered lived to a reasonable age (50's+).  Lots of infant (<1 yr) deaths.  Tons of children dying before age 10.   Lots of teens dying working on the farms or at the mill.  And the good ol' Spanish Flu Pandemic where whole families died within a few months.

Ah the good old days!
