Really enjoying The Voice again. Last series I lost patience during the battle rounds because it all felt too contrived and I felt it just didn't work, but this series the battles were all really good. My favourite was this one below. I'm not a country and western fan, but this came across as one of those beautiful moments that happen out of the blue...

Never heard Fleetwood Mac categorized as C&W before! But their rendition did give it that sound. So between Emma and Mike, who won? I would have thought Emma, but one never knows.

Sadly, Mike got through and Emma went home, Pharo. I think they sounded good as a pair and could have held their own at Nashville. She had a good voice for C+W, but I'm guessing she would have had to get her British teeth sorted out before she could make it in the American market. It worked for Shania Twain, after all -- you could have driven a bus through the gap in her front teeth before she got them fixed :afro:
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
