Mongolian Death Worm

I took a break from the daily grind to concoct a lifesize (as I imagine it) Death Worm for our local scarecrow contest. This picture doesn't really do it justice. In person it looks pretty good. Hoping it will inspire a few nightmares.

To put the size of that thing into some perspective, that's my son in the first picture (about 50'' tall), standing in front of the deathworm. The cornstalks in the background are about 10'-11' tall. Here's a larger picture with better detail:

Womble, that is a before and after. We told Liam not to get too close to the worm. Afterall, he knows that a fully mature Death Worm will eat as many as half a dozen eight year olds on any given day. We will miss him.  :grin:
