Just received my contributor's copy of Fast Fiction, the Australian short story magazine.

It contains my humorous short story The Haunting of Huntley Manor, a story that was previously earmarked for an anthology that got scrapped.

Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Well done :afro:

It was one of several stories I had lined up for a Library of the Living Dead anthology, Ed, so that was nice, too.

"If you want to write, write it. That's the first rule. And send it in, and send it in to someone who can publish it or get it published. Don't send it to me. Don't show it to your spouse, or your significant other, or your parents, or somebody. They're not going to publish it."

Shame about the library. I had a couple stories awaiting publication, too -- never got around to sending them elsewhere.

Cheers, guys.

Yep, it was a shame about 'The Library' - I had a lot of stuff lined up for publication with them.

Anyhow, one door closes.......
