I haven't been around for a while, but I still have a shortcut on my desktop to the Doom.

I have a new story out over at www.bewilderingstories.com It's called 'Whisper In The Void.' I only mentioned it here because it is both a survival story and has a dark theme.

Adventure Books has joined forces with Bewildering Stories to create discountebooks.net. Some titles will be published in print form, most will be e-books. Details for authors about submissions, etc. available AFTER AUGUST 30 at:

www.discountebooks.net or you can go to Adventure Books at www.freewebs.com/adventurebooks

There is more.  Adventure Books has created an online store over at Cafe Press.  We are still adding items, but two of the best ones already there are:

The Ultimate Mars Calendar...this is 13 of the very best images ever from the Red Planet. Imagine 13 images totalling over 300mb, with each image 11 inches by 9 inches. The resolution is unbelievable.  The preview images just don't do it justice.

The Infamous Mars Poster...a two-foot by three foot monster that took so long to upload I was able to watch a sitcom, and we have broadband!

But, strangely enough, the most popular item so far has been a bumper sticker! It shows a picture of a guy on a cell phone. The caption reads:  'I PANIC-STOP FOR CELL PHONE USERS.'

You can see these items at www.cafepress.com/abonlinestore

I urge you to submit a story to Bewildering. On acceptance, they will post up a personal bio page for you, and it is permanent. You write it yourself, and can include images and links!  This is good free advertising for the cost of one short story.

Bewildering Stories was mentioned recently in Asimov's Science Fiction. Readership has gone up since, of course. :afro:

Thanks for the tip, Robert :afro:  I'll check them out
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

I concur with Rocket Man Robert. Bewildering accepted my Weapons Sold Separately SF story within 24 hours!

And your site gets ever better, Robert!
