'On the Beach' Published in English and Arabic

My short story On the Beach, which won a prize at last year's Abu Dhabi Book Fair, has been reprinted in my company's in-house magazine, Al-Waha (The Oasis), in both English or Arabic.

The translated title in Arabic seems to be Footprints in the Corniche Sand! It's on page 20 of the PDF, page 36 of the magazine - just follow the links below:

This is the first story I've had translated into Arabic, by the way, so I'm over the moon - or 'up in the palm tree' as they would say in Arabic.

Congrats DW. I was often published in an in-house publication - I had to be, I was its editor for 11 years LOL. Not fiction though - the RM Educational Computing newsletter. Lots of funny things happened when people intereact with computers so anecdotes, cartoons and quips went in as well as useful info.

I like up a palm tree much more than the so overused over the moon. I'm using it. If only I spoke Arabic.
