The anthology was published two and a half years ago, but my contributor's copy got destroyed by DHL because it wasn't collected within 6 months - which I would have done if I'd been informed it had arrived.

Anyhow, the publisher promised to send another, forgot, was reminded after I remembered to remind him, sent another, and it arrived yesterday.

I'm currently reading Derek Rutherford's excellent bookending story Where the Pretty Girls Are.

Oh, by the way, my story is a Victorian ghost story, The Judges.

I'm glad your antho arrived and congrats for yours and Del's stories.

It can go badly wrong this business of book deliveries. Our Rev Goodchild on this ere Cafe Doom was in the M is for Monster antho - he had the letter S. I have G in there for a story about Goliath and how he was misunderstood. DW is in there too, and Jon Pinnock, Bec Zugor - loads of people - erm 26 altogether. However, Rev paid for a heap of copies and they never arrived. The publisher / editor John Prescott said he'd sort it but never did. I didn't like the way my story was Americanized and changed in other ways by Serenity Banks but reconciled that reviewers liked the result.

At home we've discovered that my next door neighbour has been taking in parcels on our behalf from postmen and UPS etc. I only discovered this by accident. She has dementia and so always says no if I ask outright but she asked me in to check her lights and I found two parcels in her airing cupboard - one addressed to me , and another for someone across the road. Both parcels were delivered months ago! You have to laugh.
