Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been in for a while, but I'm transforming into a freelance journalist, like a fluffy catterpillar grows into a big, flappery bat. I now have sixteen published articles under my belt, and start my journalism degree course next Monday.

Anyhoo, I'm doing some work for the local paper - The News & Star - and they want me to set up a book club section.

I wondered if some of you may be interested in putting your bestest short stories on the site? I'd like to have a short story section to add to the entertainment of the area on site.

If anyone's interested, give me a shout at lesfloyd(at)gmail.com?

Stupid herbs... I'm sure this email was meant to be more entertaining. Ho-hum.

I just edited your e-mail addy for you, Les - wouldn't want you getting inundated with spam :afro:

Sound like everything is going great for you - well done   I'll have a look and see if I can dig out a short that's worthy for the project.  Good luck with your journalism degree.  I'd love to do it too.
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Good at ya, Les! And hooray for the coursework! (This from the perpetual student!)  :afro:

Not sure what I've got lying around will do, but I'm sure others have some good works for you!
