I've had a story accepted for The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper Tales.

This tome will be published in the UK in November, by Little, Brown and Company, and in the US in December, by Running Press. My story is a pastiche titled Sherlock Holmes and the Simple Procedure.

As you can imagine, I'm a bit chuffed.

Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
