Bridport Flash shortlisted

Haven't won a prize, but it's VERY satisfying to learn I've had a flash short-listed in the Bridport. I had some poems shortlisted a few years ago, but this is my first time for prose. All down to the person whose name one mentions at one's peril on this forum.

Oh, you can mention Alex Keegan if you like, but I vaguely remember setting the forum to insert an 'asshat clown' smiley in the middle whenever somebody mentions his name, so I read it as Alex Asshat Clown Keegan, which stops my inner chimp screeching.
