The Monster Killers at EDF
« on: November 01, 2016, 04:42:21 AM »
My belated Halloween story The Monster Killers is up at EDF (Every Day Fiction) today - see below:

If you do read it, please leave a comment and register a star value.

The initial vote of the day was a whopping one star. Aren't I the popular one?

Nice one, but as I mentioned over at TWI just now, the EDF critiquers are getting worse. Luckily the moderators stamp out the worst excesses of their spleen and bile.

Yep. Things certainly have taken a turn on EDF. I've been around long enough not to worry about malicious 'rating', but I do wonder how that would affect less experienced, more vulnerable writers.

Shame that it's got to be like that. Writing forums do tend to get a bit bitchy I suppose :/
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]
