Reading Stormm's list, the one about buns reminded me of another - When God was handing out bums, she thought he said buns, and asked for a big sticky one :grin:

(Doesn't translate across the pond ::) )
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

Oh yeah? I got it!

When I first read Robert's story, part of me was doing the 'oh my, how awfully politically incorrect' shit. But the rest of me thoroughly enjoyed the tale, the way it was written, and I found myself laughing out loud at several points. The true test here, for me, is the fact that I haven't forgotten about the story. I've actually gone and read some more of Robert's writing. Google him ...

Yep, it's a shame Robert only posted the once :/  I like to discuss what it is that people are trying to do with their writing and whether they think mine and other comments are valid, what techniques they're using, etc.  Conversations like that can be very illuminating sometimes :smiley:

Some people are funny like that - only post once, and disappear. I noticed he was online again late last night for a while, so he has been back.

I hope he didn't take offence :scratch:  If you're looking in, Robert - feel free to speak your mind and have a chat.  We don't bite :smiley:

(not so's it leaves a conspicuous mark anyway :evil: )
