I sing but unless you're looking for somebody like Evanesence, don't ask for a sample! Have been told my voice can shatter glass (and that was the NICEST thing I've heard lately about my vocal talents).  >:(

We could always put down on our own individual tracks and have somebody mix 'em. It's been done (Belafonte's daughter, Streisand & somebody, KD Lang & Roy Oribson ...).

Sometimes, I just LOVE computers.

Forgot until this morning that Mrs. D had said she'd like the JCB Song in time for Christmas. Guess who forgot?  ::)

So, onto Woolworths website, dowloaded the track for 59p! On the computer now, but digitall licenced! Can't do anything but play it on the computer :hot:

Run Audacity (free software), recorded from the sound card whilst it was playing, and then exported the recorded project to WAV format. Then used CDBurner XP Pro (free software) to convert and write to CD. Job's a good 'un!

Yep - there isn't any copy protection system invented that hasn't already been circumvented - and long may it continue to fail :afro:
Planning is an unnatural process - it is much more fun to do something.  The nicest thing about not planning is that failure comes as a complete surprise, rather than being preceded by a period of worry and depression. [Sir John Harvey-Jones]

I know it's only 59p, but it's one track, and I want to be able to play it wherever I like in my home or on an MP3 player. I won't be redistributing it. The weird thing is, anyone determined enough can got hold of any music for free, and allow any amount of other people to copy it. Copy protection, or digital licensing as it's now known, only hinders the ordinary Joe.

Anyhow, I'm happy. Thanks for pointing it out to me, Ed  :sthumb:
