So the US Marines have been without a sniper for the last decade, huh?   That explains a lot

500 meters for a Marine isn't sniping, it a basic graduation requirement. 1.5 Miles with a .50 cal, now that's sniping. I was Army, EOD so not in combat arms, but if I want my cute hiney protected I would prefer US Marines or British Royal Marines over straight soldiers any time, with the possible exception of Delta.

As for the original anti UK post, I have no issues with our friends across the pond and can't stand tea or coffee. Do you all have Diet Mt Dew over there?
